Ever since the explosive trailer of KGF: Chapter 2 has been unveiled, the audience, especially fans of Yash and veteran actor Sanjay Dutt couldn’t stop praising their impressive and never-seen-before looks and their stellar performances as their respective characters – Rocky and Adheera.

Sanjay Dutt’s look is inspired by the 11th-century warriors, the Vikings, and turns out the actor had a major role to play in the way Adheera looks. Sanjay was quite involved in curating his look for KGF: Chapter 2. In fact, the report states that Sanjay used accessories from his personal wardrobe to give the character the desired look. A source revealed, “When the script came to Dutt Saab, he sat down with the director to etch out the character’s back-story and discussed details like what his motivations could be. Adheera has swag. While he wears snazzy shades, he carries a sword. Clearly, the villain is slightly eccentric. Along with his stylist, the star carefully curated every element of Adheera’s look. He raided his personal wardrobe to bring out accessories from his ’90s films to give the character the desired X-factor.”

Hailing Sanjay Dutt as the perfect antagonist Adheera, his fans have heaped huge praises on him for his cruel and menacing look in the movie. Taking to their social media, the fans congratulated him for pulling off a character that could redefine the identity of antagonists in Hindi cinema.

While one fan commented, “Adheera is the perfect antagonist.” Another decoded a few scenes from the trailer and wrote, “Rocky vs Adheera, Rocky blooded hand with hammer vs Adheera, Adheera lifting iron slab in same location.”

Considering the humongous popularity and craze among the viewers, a few are also of the opinion that the movie is going to witness the biggest face-off between a hero and villain in the history of cinema, as depicted in the trailer.

KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields, and the first film was about the rise of Rocky, the character played by Yash, as he battles the gold mafia. 

The first part of the franchise was released in 2018 and grossed Rs 250 crores, setting a benchmark in India. KGF: Chapter 2 follows the events that occur after the death of the villain Garuda at the hands of Rocky. Rocky, who is now helping the people struggling at the KGF, will have to face his biggest foe Adheera and learn more about his past.

The film will release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The cast includes Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achuth Kumar, Rao Ramesh, Eswari Rao, Ramachandra Raju, John Kokken, and others.

Besides KGF 2 which is all set to release on April 14th, 2022, Sanjay Dutt has Ghudchadhi to be directed by Binoy Gandhi, and Shamshera in the pipeline.
