Does Akshay Kumar ever rest? The actor is busy with the promotions for his film, Mission Mangal which is on India’s first mission to Mars. Now, Kumar has taken to social media to announce his next film titled Bachchan Pandey. Yes, his character in Tashan had the same name – is there a connection here? We’ll find out soon enough.

Bachchan Panday has Farhad Samji and Sajid Nadiadwala on board. Media reports suggest that the movie will be a masala entertainer along the lines of Rowdy Rathore. However, these are mere speculations. As of now, all we have is his first look from the film.

Kumar has also wrapped up the schedules for his Housefull 4 which is also helmed by Farhad Samji, reports Times of India.

His next, Mission Mangal, is set to release on the 15th of August this year and stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.
