‘She-Hulk’ Trailer Indicates That The Future of MCU Is Female
‘She-Hulk’ will also see the return of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner aka The Hulk
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is booming with new stories being introduced at a fast pace. After standalone series like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and the upcoming Ms Marvel, MCU is ready to introduce fans to She-Hulk . Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige described the new series as a ‘half-hour legal comedy.’
Marvel Studios released the first trailer of the upcoming Disney+ series today. Titled She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the series will star Tatiana Maslany in the lead. The trailer also promises fans that Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky/Annihilation, and Benedict Wong’s Wong will be back on screen.
The trailer follows Jennifer Walters’ (Tatiana Maslany) life as she navigates being a single, 30-something attorney, who also is a green and muscular She-Hulk. As seen in the trailer, this complex story won’t be without comic relief.
The show, which is created by Jessica Gao, mixed reactions for its trailer. While many are glad to see the MCU character in live-action form, others criticised the CGI. Twitter was flooded with reactions to the trailer. Here’s what fans had to say:
Bruce being a supportive cousin after almost killing Jennifer is the funniest shit #SheHulk pic.twitter.com/OzbTT9qcDy

I actually like the tone of #SheHulk. It feels fun. And Maslany is hella talented, that shows.

But my lord you have Gamora. You could’ve used practical effects on her face + body. They literally have the resources.
Maslany too talented to be hidden in that CGI nonsense.
WHY MARVEL WHY 💔 these cgi shots in the #SheHulk trailer made my eyes bleed pic.twitter.com/bQQEwCi5BN

I'm not usually one to complain about VFX but Jen's CGI looks distractingly wonky in the #SheHulk trailer. That said, I'm super excited about Tatiana Maslany CRUSHING this role, and at least according to the trailer it seems they got the character right. Also, THIS: https://t.co/GQnkEMjUh6
