After teasing fans with a mysterious poster, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao have finally revealed what it was all about. As we guessed earlier, the poster was from their upcoming film, Hum Do Hamare Do. The makers of the film, Maddock Films, is back with another slice-of-life film starring Rao and Sanon.

The teaser of the film was released yesterday (October 6), and it comes and no surprise that the story that Maddock Films is bringing forward is going to be a fun one. Just like any film backed by the production house earlier, this film also talks about a topic that is new and interesting.

The teaser shows how Sanon’s character asks Rao’s character to bring his parents to meet her family. The two are about to start their new life and they want to get married soon. The only problem that seems to be is that Rao’s parents are not in the story. He adopts new parents to handle things, and what happens next is something we all are looking forward to.

Hum Do Hamare Do is directed by Gujarati filmmaker, Abhishek Jain and is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles. The film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.

Sanon had recently updated her fans that she has kickstarted the promotions of Hum Do Humare Do. Sharing a picture on Instagram, she wrote, “BossLady feels kickstarting Hum Do Hamare Do promotions.” She also requested fans to wait for the release date to be announced.

Apart from this, Sanon was last seen in Mimi. She has been lauded for the exemplary performance and she talks about how she is glad she took up the role of a mother so early on in her career as the scenes allowed for intensity. The movie has made her more confident as an actor. Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in Badhaai Do. It is a follow-up to the 2018 comedy film Badhaai Ho, and will star Bhumi Pedenkar alongside Rao.
