JugJugg Jeeyo became one of the most-anticipated films of this year since the trailer released in May. Starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, the comedy-drama promises a gripping story, groovy songs and a cast that you cannot miss. After a long wait and massive promotions, the film is finally ready for us to see. 

Audience streamed into theatres to watch the dysfunctional family, with the makers describing the film as “a story set in the heart of Patiala and much like the city, it’s full of love and laughter, colour and drama. It’s about family and its values, unresolved yearnings, and unexpected reconciliations.” And if the early reviews are any indication, we think this one might grow to become a box office hit. 

If the brouhaha around JugJugg Jeeyo wasn’t enough for the audience to book their tickets, incoming reviews from fans might do the trick. Those who have seen the first-day, first-show are coming back to report that they loved the performances. Understandably, Twitter is abuzz with adulation for the performances, script and music. With all the positive feedback, it looks like the Dhawan-Advani starrer will be worth your while.

A point to be noted here is that, JugJugg Jeeyo — which is a Dhrama-Production-backed project, directed by Raj Mehta — also marks Neetu Kapoor’s return to the big screen, after nearly seven years. The film also stars Tisca Chopra, Maniesh Paul and popular influencer-turned-actor, Prajakta Koli in key roles.
