Justin Bieber Is Set To Perform In India And We Hope There’s No Lip-Sync This Time
Justin Bieber last performed in India in 2017 but that didn’t go as fans expected it to go. Here’s hoping this time will be different
After two long years of the pandemic, the world is slowly opening up. People are returning to restaurants, the clubs are buzzing with loud music and the city roads are finally busy. With normalcy slowing coming back to India, international stars, too, are arriving in the country. We recently spotted Will Smith in India, and now we will soon be seeing Justin Bieber perform live in India.
The international pop star is returning to India for his second stint and fans can see him sing live in the capital. His tour will last over 30 countries, where the singer will be performing for more than 125 shows from May 2022 through March 2023 including India. The concert in India will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN Stadium) in New Delhi on October 18th.
While his Indian fans are excited to see Bieber in action again, many are hoping that they won’t be disappointed this time around. The other time when Bieber came to India for his ‘Purpose Tour’ gig in Mumbai back in 2017, he had left fans quite angry and dissatisfied. To refresh your memory, the singer had lip-synced his way through most of the concert. Out of the 12 tracks, about eight were pre-recorded and didn’t even have a choreography, which left fans a little disheartened.
If you want to still give your favourite singer another chance, we have the booking details for you. Tickets will go on sale from June 4th on BookMyShow, with the pre-sale window opening on June 2nd. Prices begin from Rs 4,000.
Justin Bieber and his team will be travelling to Asia, Australia and New Zealand in 2022 before moving to the UK and Europe in early 2023. Additional dates have been assigned for their tour in Dubai, Bahrain, Sydney, Manila, Amsterdam, London and Dublin. This is the second tour the singer is going on right after his 2022 North American tour, which kicked off in San Diego on February 18th.
