Logan Paul, the 24-year-old older brother of YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul, had previously made some bold claims about his capabilities as a boxer and about an opponent and celebrated player, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Speaking on Showtime’s pay-per-view broadcast prior to Jake Paul’s fight against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley on Sunday night, Logan Paul said he “retired Floyd Mayweather,” referring to their fight June 6. It was not scored by judges.

“I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Fighters, bro, modern day gladiators,” he said on the broadcast when asked if he has plans beyond exhibitions. “There is no more dangerous athlete. When the fighter walks in the room, everyone feels it. He’s got a presence. And it’s cool, I love it. I love the sport, I love entertaining. And honestly, I’m f—ing good, bro,” he said before he took the credit of “retiring” Floyd Mayweather; “I retired Floyd Mayweather… the dudes on my highlight reel, I busted his eardrum,” he said and then goes on to promise he will be back in “a big f—ing way,” once he takes care of some things he need to take care of.

Paul appeared on the broadcast next to AJ McKee, an undefeated featherweight in Bellator MMA. Asked for the keys to victory for his brother, Logan Paul was once again very confident and said he didn’t see the fight going past three rounds.

He lost two fights to YouTuber KSI and did not appear to do significant damage to Mayweather.

In the unscored fight in question, Paul lasted longer than netizens had expected him to, the tussle went till the final bell. However, the statistics still suggested another easy win for Floyd Mayweather. He outboxed and outclassed the Ohio native. ‘Money’ landed more jabs with his usual ‘stick and move’ approach, showcased more power and was overall the better striker on that night.

Logan was also spotted flirting with model Kourtney Kellar as she stood in the boxing ring in the much-awaited Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley match. As the younger Paul became a 4-0 winner, the elder sibling seemed to have his eyes on the model-influencer, who is now, thanks to him, trending on social media.
