Ludo: Sanya Malhotra Opens Up About Sex Scenes With Aditya Roy Kapur
Actor Sanya Malhotra was nervous about the intimate scenes with Aditya Roy Kapur in Anurag Basu’s recently released film, Ludo but she says she was thrilled when she got to know she’d be working alongside Kapur because “my god, he’s so good looking”.
Sanya Malhotra’s role in Ludo has been highly praised and so has Kapur’s. As Akash Chauhan, Kapur was the perfect mix of boyfriend material and casual fuck buddy. His relationship with Sanya Malhotra is what friends-with-benefits dreams are made up of. Despite fantastic performances by Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, and Abhishek Bachchan, Kapur and Malhotra managed to hold their own.
“I didn’t know him, but when I found out that Adi would be doing it, I was really happy. He’s a very good actor, and my god, he’s so good looking. Who wouldn’t be happy to work with such a good actor and such a handsome person? I was really happy, but my friends were happier,” Sanya Malhotra told SpotboyE in an interview.
In the film, the two actors play the role of former lovers whose sex tape has been leaked and they go on a mission to find out the source of the leak. Both the actors also share some pretty steamy scenes in the movie.
“If the script requires these scenes, I don’t mind it. But I wouldn’t say that it’s a cool situation. There’s definitely some hesitation and nervousness, because we’re surrounded on set by so many people. The lights, the cameras, that makes me more nervous,” the actress told the portal about filming the sex scenes.
In related news, Kapur’s rotten luck at the movies appears to have ended with Ludo. In Ludo, we saw the actor we’d fallen in love with in Aashiqui 2 and in Guzaarish. Now, with OM – The Battle Within, Kapur will be taking yet another step into a genre that is dominated by Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. To be directed by Kapil Verma, Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen in “an action avatar”.
He already has the body for it, it remains to be seen if he has the dynamic persona that is required for a high-octane film. We’ve always seen Aditya Roy Kapur perform best when he can be the quiet and raw or funny and charming character. We’re hoping he manages to stand out with OM – The Battle Within.
