The Spice Girls took to Instagram, to confirm that they will be heading on a six-show UK tour. This is going to be their first tour together in 10 years. However, Victoria a.k.a Posh Spice, won’t be joining them, and it was a decision that was taken amicably.
Ever since they performed for the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in 2012, fans have been asking for a multiple city tour, and this is the closest they’re going to get to it.
The tour begins on the 1st of June at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, and will conclude at Wembley Stadium in London on June 15. Jess Glynne has been announced as the supporting artist for the tour.
The Spice Girls have always been considered an iconic band and have ruled the 90s and 2000’s with their pop records. None of the members have confirmed that they are working on new material or not, so don’t expect a new single from them, but till then, go ahead and listen to these classics.
