Netflix has finally unveiled its exceptional slate of films lined up for release in 2022. With a promise of a new title every week, the Netflix 2022 movie slate looks packed with promise. A promo trailer was shared by the streaming giant on February 3, giving a glimpse of much-anticipated films including The Gray Man, Enola Holmes 2, Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, Knives Out 2.

The promo also includes brief first looks of stars like Lindsay Lohan from Falling For Christmas, Chris Hemsworth from Spiderhead, Mila Kunis from Luckiest Girl Alive, Halle Berry from The Mothership, Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron from The School For Good And Evil.

Knives Out 2

Knives Out 2 is the sequel to Rian Johnson’s acclaimed 2019 whodunit Knives Out. Detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, has a whole new list of suspects and he’s on a mission to find the one. Joining Craig’s southern gent to peel back the layers of this mystery are Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline.


Enola Holmes 2

Enola Holmes 2 is the sequel to Harry Bradbeer detective movie, Enola Holmes  that released in 2020. Millie Bobby Brown will be reprising her role as a teen detective, and will be seen alongside Henry Cavill, Louis Partridge, and Helena Bonham Carter.


The Adam Project

The Adam Project is a film directed by Shawn Levi. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, and Walker Scobell in key roles. Reynolds will be seen as a time-travelling pilot who teams up with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future.


Guillermo del Toro’s Pinnochio

Another exciting film included in the Netflix 2022 movie slate is Guillermo del Toro’s Pinnochio. Toro is taking on a classic, and his stop-motion musical about the wooden marionette which was brought to life to soothe Geppetto’s grief. The cast includes Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman and Gregory Mann.


The Gray Man

The Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man is an action-thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in lead roles. The film also stars Dhanush , Wagner Moura, Jessica Henwick, and Julia Butters. The adaptation of Mark Greaney’s The Gray Man, it chronicles the story of CIA’s most skilled mercenary, who accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets. A psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins.
