Two seasons later, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s Devi is finally dating Darren Barnet’s Paxton in Never Have I Ever 3. The trailer was unveiled by Netflix today, giving fans an exciting glimpse of what the character’s life is like, since she became popular in school. Keeping the premise intact, we see our protagonist getting into trouble once again, making things interesting. 

The trailer starts with Devi’s dream-come-true moment where she is walking hand-in-hand with Paxton. After the dramatic ending of season 2, where she gets confused between two boys, it seems like she chose to move on with the hotter one. While she is living the best life, people in school are not very on board with the idea of ‘Dexton’. This creates turmoil in Devi’s life, making S3 worth the wait.

The previous seasons have had a similar trajectory as the third one is expected to have. Devi and Paxton have already created a place in everyone’s hearts and fans are happy to know that they are finally together. Soon after Netflix shared the trailer, viewers took to Twitter to share their excitement for the show. Many also expressed the eagerness to know who the new hottie in town is, making everyone drool over him.

The show also stars tennis legend, John McEnroe, who serves as the narrator. Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, Poorna Jagannathan, Lee Rodriguez, and Ramona Young will also return to play their respective roles. 

Never Have I Ever 3 has been created by executive producer Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher serving as co-creator, executive producer, show-runner and writer. It will premiere on August 12 exclusively on the streaming platform.
