Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are couple goals, and they go the extra mile to prove their love for each other. Be it collaborating for songs or promoting each other’s work, the lovebirds never refrain from expressing their fondness for each other. Nickyanka will also be will announcing the Oscar nominations in all 23 categories on Monday, March 15, and their fans are pretty excited to see the duo together after a long time.
While there are still a few days left for the fans to see the couple announce the nominations, Jonas has been pretty busy promoting his latest album, Spaceman. He had earlier revealed that the songs in the album are ‘basically love letters’ to PeeCee, and now during an interview, he talked about what separated the actress from all the women he has been with before. During an interview with SiriusXM, when asked how his wife is different, he said that he has a magical connection with her.
Jonas added, “It’s just that magical connection you’ve got with somebody when it’s right. We’re very lucky. We knew each other well before we started dating properly, and I think that foundation as friends always helps in relationships that have evolved in an organic way. It’s been a wild first couple of years of marriage, and I’m very blessed to have a life partner that I can rely on, and vice versa hopefully.”
Coming back to the Oscar nominations, Chopra made the announcement with a hilarious video. She even went on to tweet “Hey @theacademy, any chance I can announce the Oscar nominations solo? Just kidding, love you @nickjonas! We are so excited to be announcing the #OscarNoms on Monday, March 15th at 5:19 AM PDT! Watch it live on youtube.com/Oscars.” The video showed her catching up on the viral trend, saying, “Tell me we are announcing the Oscar nominations without telling me we are announcing Oscar nominations.” Nick jumps in and tells that PeeCee has already made the announcement in this adorable video.
Variety revealed that the nominations will be declared through a live global stream on the Academy’s official website – Oscars.com and Oscars.org. The Academy’s digital platforms – Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube will also be used for the live stream. The Academy Awards, which are usually scheduled for early February, got delayed this year due to the pandemic. The ceremony will now take place on April 25 this year. The 93rd Oscars will be televised live on ABC.
