Starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, Salaar will hit the screens next year in April.

A couple of pictures from the sets of Salaar have surfaced on the web, making a lot of noise among the enthusiasts of Baahubali star Prabhas. In the photographs, Prabhas could be seen chipping away at the sets looking like a shantytown. The set is basically the same as thin and squeezed sets that we found in chief Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2.

Prabhas as of late joined the sets of Salaar in the wake of finishing his since quite a while ago deferred heartfelt drama Radhe Shyam. The film was postponed by the pandemic, making it miss its original release date, which was July 30. The film is currently in post-production and is preparing to hit the screens during the Sankranti celebration one year from now.

For the moment, the production of Salaar is going at an energetic speed in Hyderabad. The film stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. In the event that everything works out as expected, the big-budget action drama will open in cinemas worldwide on April 14 one year from now.

The massive box office success of KGF 1 has helped Prashanth gain the attention of some of the A-listers of Telugu cinema. He has also signed Jr NTR for his next directorial project.

Prasanth, meanwhile, is also waiting for the release of his most-awaited film KGF: Chapter 2. Starring Yash in the lead role, the sequel also has Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt playing a powerful villain. The filmmakers are expected to announce the new release date for the film on September 9.

Prabhas will also be seen in an Indian mythological film Adipurush based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Prabhas will be seen portraying the role of Lord Ram along with Kriti Sanon as Sita while Saif Ali Khan will play the role of the main antagonist Lankesh (Ravana). Other than this, he is also set to star opposite Deepika Padukone for an upcoming untitled sci-fi movie directed by Nag Ashwin.
