Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has announced a three-part biopic on his life on his social media handles. The director has also informed his fans that the upcoming biopic will be controversial.

The first part, titled Ramu will be produced by Bommaku Murali but Varma will be directing and supervising the entire project with debutant Dorasai Teja helping out with the direction.

The shooting for the film will begin in September and each biopic will be around two hours in length. The director also revealed that each part of his biopic will focus on his various ‘age periods’ and ‘phases’ of his life.

 

“Apart from my college days, first loves and gang fights in Vijaywada, it will be about how I cunningly manipulated and made SHIVA,” he tweeted.

“It will be about my life in Mumbai with Girls, Gangsters, and Amitabh Bachchan,” he further added cryptically.
