We’ve all been waiting for this. It’s been a while. The Khan triumvirate who have rules the industry for nearly three decades, have finally agreed to star in a movie together. It’ll be a big budget movie, from the Yash Raj banner, and star the three Khans in parallel leads.
“We’ve taken special care to make sure that no one feels like they are playing second fiddle,” director Vijay Krishna Acharya told us in a telephonic interview.
As per reports, the three Khans will make a team of highly efficient thieves or conmen (Ocean’s 11 style). Even the Khans confirmed the news with SRK saying, “I am really excited to work with Aamir. I have worked with Salman before and we share a great bond, despite the differences that cropped up between us previously. The shooting will start later this year, and we expect to wrap up by July 2019. I’m also excited about Red Chillies doing the VFX for this movie, and we have plans to make it the best action film ever made in Bollywood. Some of the stunts are at par with the Fast and Furious franchisee.”
On his part, Aamir Khan said, “I always choose a film based on the script. It was a terrific script, which demanded three big names. It’s not just a marketing gimmick. Salman and SRK are great actors, and I’m sure the film will break all box-office records.”
Salman Khan too seemed equally excited about the project. “I did Ek Tha Tiger with Yash Raj and it was successful. Aamir did Dhoom 3 with Yash Raj and it was successful. SRK’s association with Yash Raj doesn’t need any explanation. Indeed, the rumours are true and we’re doing a film together. All 3 of us play thieves who come together to pull off the ultimate heist. In fact, the script is so good that we’re planning to dub it in English, and release it for international audiences too,” he said.
