Athiya Shetty and her father Suniel Shetty cheered for KL Rahul on Thursday, as he scored a century against England.

Love is by all accounts blending between Bollywood and cricket by and by. As the Indian cricket crew flaunted some fine strokes at an ongoing test match at Lord’s in London, Suniel Shetty, who turned 60 on August 11, supported his little girl’s rumored beau KL Rahul’s superb 129.

“Congratulations and god bless baba. PS – thank you for my b’day gift!” Suniel Shetty wrote, adding, “100 at the Mecca of cricket!”

Athiya Shetty also took to her social media platform to share an appreciation post for Rahul. She shared video of the cricketer along with 🙌❤️ emoticons.

Athiya, when she was in London with her sibling Aahan, made a point to spend some quality time with KL Rahul. Anushka Sharma had shared a post on her Instagram handle, where Athiya was likewise seen standing besides Rahul. Athiya and KL Rahul have likewise shared a few PDA posts on their web-based media handles, starting relationship reports.

Recently several pictures of Athiya and Rahul have emerged online. While the rumoured couple would initially not appear in pictures together, they were both included in a photo shared online by Ishant Sharma’s wife. On several occasions Anushka Sharma, who’s also in the UK with husband Virat Kohli, also credited Athiya for pictures she shared of her, baby Vamika and Virat.

After daughter Athiya and her rumoured boyfriend’s pictures from England went viral a few days ago, father Sunil Shetty confirmed that his daughter is indeed in England but with her brother Ahan Shetty. In an interview with ETimes, Sunil Shetty revealed that his daughter and son have taken off to England to spend some quality time with each other.

“Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo went there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them,” he was quoted saying by the news publication.

KL Rahul and Athiya are the brand ambassadors of an eyewear brand. Commenting on their look for the ad, Sunil Shetty said that the duo look brilliant together and make for a good looking couple.

“As far as the ad goes I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as ambassadors. I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad (laughs!),” he told the media house.
