You may know that the famous ’90 sitcom Friends is reuniting for a special episode where all six cast members would be seen together for an unscripted, hourlong special on the upcoming streaming service HBO Max.
According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer will each receive between $2.5 and $3 million to appear in the episode. The total budget for talent is reportedly around $20 million, and these six stars will certainly be taking most of that home.
The reunion will be shot on the iconic Stage 24, the same set where Friends was filmed. After debuting on NBC in 1994, the sitcom quickly became one of the most popular American TV shows of all time.
No word yet on when the unscripted Friends special will air. But, just like every other fan out there, we’re keeping our eyes glued to our screens so we can keep you updated with every bit of reunion-related news as it comes to light.
