Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly one of the most successful actors in the Hindi film industry. He is commercially viable and has a legion of fans who’ve only grown stronger since he started speaking up about patriotism and the like. Last year, it was announced that Kumar would mark his digital debut with a series called The End.
Of course, the show is said to be high on action. What was also reported at the time is that it was Kumar’s son Aarav who pushed his father to do an OTT series.
According to Filmfare, Kumar is charging a whopping Rs. 90 crore to feature in the web series.
“To begin with, Akshay was not keen to do a digital series. Amazon pursued him relentlessly. They hope to get in more Bollywood superstars,” a source close to the project revealed to a leading daily, reports Filmfare.
