Diets can be easy for the first few days and frustrating later on as most of us expect fast results. It depends from one individual to another. Many diet trends come and go, but according to Forbes, these are the hottest diets of the year. Take a look at it below.

Volumetrics Diet

The Volumetrics Diet is an eating plan to promote weight loss by having you fill up on low calorie, nutrient-dense foods. It is meant to reduce feelings of hunger by prioritising foods with a high water content and low calorie density. It also encourages other habits, such as regular exercise and keeping a food journal.

Keto has been a buzzword since last few years. The diet is really effective and it is definitely here to stay for a long time.  The diet works because it’s high in fat, which makes it very satiating, but very low in carbohydrates. It involves reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat.

Raw Food

The raw food diet died several years ago, but it’s making a comeback this decade. The theory behind this diet is that the natural enzymes and other nutrients in foods break down when heated and these enzymes help aid digestion and nutrient absorption.

Flexitarian is one step below vegan diet and it is an easier and more realistic approach to eating. This diet can help you lose weight because the goal is to limit calories by eating mostly veggies, whole grains, fruit and plant-based proteins.

A probiotic-rich diet is a far better approach than the raw food diet for people with digestive and inflammation issues. Many fermented products contain probiotics, which means the bacteria in them are still living. Often, the food production process destroys living bacteria. If a product is available on a shelf and is not refrigerated, it may not contain live and active probiotics.
