Few weeks ago, it was decided that all upcoming menswear and womenswear shows of Milan and Paris scheduled in June were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Similarly, Ermenegildo Zegna had initially decided not to present any fashion show for the season but now, the Italian brand has announced that they would be showcasing their upcoming Spring/Summer 2021 in a digital format, which would allow anyone and everywhere in the world to experience the new format.
“I have always wanted to use alternative formats to communicate my creative process to an even wider audience. The idea that this season I will present the collection with a digital tool gives me great energy and freedom of thought because I can finally enter directly into people’s place,” stated Alessandro Sartori, Artistic Director of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group.
With this digital format, the brand wishes to generate a real experiential dimension with the aim of continuing to bring to public attention the style and innovation of Ermenegildo Zegna, as this year celebrates its 110 years of history.
