How to cure hangover
Don’t Walk in to Work Hungover, Try These Hacks

You decided to rage at night but got work the next day? Don’t call in sick for you can try these hacks to cure hangovers

Your head is hurting, and you hate the morning light through the window. You might want to draw the curtains and sleep, but you have to report to work on time. While you get up wobbly trying to remember the mix of cocktails you had last night, first find water and take a few sips. Are you sick? That’s the hangover kicking in! You might hate it, but we all have been there. Mornings after a raging party night might seem like the worst nightmare but here’s all that you can do to cure that handover before heading to work.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

You might want to throw up at the very sight of liquid in a glass, but water is what your gut needs. As cliche as it may sound, hydration can help soothe dry mouth and heavy head. Hangover causes dehydration and the best way to deal with it is by starting the day with some water. Don’t gulp it, sipping it in slowly is how it must be done.

Have A Bowl of Curd

This is tried and tested, and so, if you don’t want to fill your stomach with a leafy breakfast, reach out for a bowl full of curd. Just do not start the day with an empty stomach. Curd is full of probiotics and good bacteria in it can balance diarrhoea and acidity causing bad bacteria. In simple words, it can bring down the uneasy feeling of drunkenness.

OTC Tablets and Drinks

While this may not work for everyone, there are a few anti-hangover tablets and drinks available at pharmacies that can bring down the effect of a hangover. Tablets like PartySmart can be consumed before the party for a no-hangover morning. Vitamin drinks like Rebound and Fast & Up Fitness’s NightOut can be consumed as the last shot after the party for a fresh morning. Only if you can remember taking it after all those shots! These come in different flavours and have vitamins and electrolytes that balance the hydration level in the body.

Keep Some Anti-Hangover Tea Handy

You might have heard that black coffee helps with throbbing headaches the morning after the party. However, avoid caffeine. A few brands have caffeine-free anti-hangover tea infused with ingredients like ginger, lemon and mint that help relieve nausea and soothe the body. Blue Tea Anti Hangover Herbal Infusion is a good buy if you are a part of frequent party plans. The blend of antioxidants helps in flushing out toxins from the body and get your metabolism on track.

Get Moving

While you want to rest and sleep the day off or find going to work a mammoth task, sweating out a little might be helpful. A 10 min brisk walk can help in further detoxification of the body and fresh air can soothe a heavy head.
