The actor is in the limelight again and this time it’s for his new hair look. Kapoor is known to experiment with his look, for movies and even otherwise. Recently the actor sported a clean-shaved look after a long time and now his slicked-back, sleek look has come as a pleasant surprise. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim, who’s also behind the makeover, shared Kapoor’s new look on social media. "Whether you are attending a family gathering or heading out for a night with friends, this easy yet stylish hairdo will help you make a bold statement," says Hakim.

The actor sports a fresh, clean and a toned-down version of classy bouffant with short hair on sides, and volume and length in the centre. This hairstyle has been in trend for a long time, from Hollywood celebrities to Bollywood actors and cricketers sporting the look. If Kapoor's validation isn't enough for you to go for the look, cricketer Krunal Pandya, Abhishek Bachchan have also opted for the similar look recently. "With longer hair on top, especially at the front, and shorter sides and back, it's a sophisticated, clean look that works in any setting," explains Hakim.

What to Tell Your Stylist? 

If showing his images doesn’t work, here’s what to tell your stylist. The idea is to maintain length at the centre and go short on the sides. The length should be optimum to put them back in a sleek bouffant. When the hair brushed back, away from the face, it leaves a scope for the hair to have texture and length. Also, you must understand that the look can only be achieved with proper styling therefore, you must have a stash of styling products and tools to achieve the required bounce and puff in the front. "Push the top section of hair away from the forehead to create fuller, high-contrast appearance. For a polished finish, comb the sides and back down while giving the front a volumising lift with wax or gel," he adds.

Here is the list of products you can use to achieve the desired look: 

Strong Hold Wax 

Depending on the hair type, go for a wax that can hold the style in place for long hours. This primarily helps in putting the look in place once you’re done styling. If you find hair wax too. heavy for your hair type, you can replace it with a gel or pomade. However, these products won’t help if you have heavy, voluminous hair. Hakim suggests going for a coin-sized amount of Set Wet Clay Wax, rubbing it between the palms and applying it by pushing the hair diagonally upwards. You can also use Set Wet hair gel for a softer, flexible finish.

Hair Roller 

You need to have a roller brush to give that volume to the hair while putting it back. The idea is not to put hair away from the face but also to have volume while doing so. Rolling the hair inwards with the help of the brush and a blast of air will get the desired results. 

Hair Spray 

Once the look is the place, make sure to seal it all with a hair spray. You can go for a spray that also adds shine to your hair.
