Known for his effortlessly put-together style, enviable fitness, and the kind of glow that could power a stage light, Zaeden has mastered the art of balance between sound and self-care. We caught up with the multi-hyphenate to get a peek into his grooming game, fitness formula, and what keeps him looking (and smelling) good. Excerpts:
1. How informed are you when it comes to grooming products, ingredients in skincare and hair care, and new innovative products?
Not as much as I’d like to be, but I’ve gone down the YouTube rabbit hole about niacinamide and retinol a bunch of times, with close to no action taken. Work in progress!
2. What’s your everyday grooming routine like?
Simple—cleanse, moisturise, sunscreen (I’m a bit inconsistent with this one). That’s the holy trinity, I believe. A good fragrance is non-negotiable for me. I’m obsessed with perfumes. I’d like to believe I have a sharp nose for smells; I’m always guessing others’ fragrances (if I’ve smelled that fragrance before) and I’m 100% spot on. No wonder I’m running a fragrance brand called Sol!
3. What are your grooming essentials that you cannot do without?
Face wash, hair wax, and a solid fragrance. If I have those three, I can survive a hectic day at work. Lip balm should probably be in there too, but I’ve never found it absolutely essential for me personally.

4. Do you go for in-clinic treatments for your skin or scalp? Are you aware of any?
Once in a while. I’ve done a hydra facial a bunch of times, it’s like a reset button. Plus, I think I have good hair genetically (at least till now, lol), so I’ve never really done a proper scalp test. This interview has definitely planted the idea to do it soon though.
5. You’re always on the go. How do you keep up with the health of your skin and hair?
Hydration, sleep, and most importantly, saying no when I need to. That’s my real skincare, honestly. Saying no > putting sheet masks on a flight. People should stop doing that, it’s scary. (That’s also a note for my sister!)
6. What’s your go-to hair look if you have to get ready on your own?
Slightly messy, slightly put-together—the “I tried, but not too hard” look. But if it’s a music video, I can fully depend on my hairstylist, Bugz.
7. What’s your hair-care routine like? Do you have any weekend TLC rituals?
Every now and then on a Sunday, I oil before washing, if I remember to. Otherwise, just shampoo, conditioner, and prayers.

8. Which are your go-to fragrances?
I am completely obsessed with perfumes. I have my own fragrance brand, Sol. My go-to changes with my mood, and I have an insane collection to match that. My everyday choice is Sweet Sea from Sol—it’sfresh, citrusy, not overpowering. It has sea salt, Amalfi lemon, and bergamot. I also love Speed Legends by Ex Nihilo, it’s a new favourite, and I just finished a bottle. So, anyone reading this, feel free to gift me a new one!
9. What is your fitness routine like?
Weights three times a week (minimum, I should do more) and a lot of padel!
10. How particular are you about your diet and nutrition? What’s your regular diet like?
I’m not a big foodie and could eat the same thing almost every day—I know, boring. But my diet is disciplined. I eat to feel sharp—smaller meals, 4–5 times a day, high protein, lots of water.
11. Are there any cheat days when it comes to diet? What’s your favourite cheat meal?
I don’t really crave cheat meals, weirdly. I’ve never been into sweets either; I’ll take a bite or two when someone orders dessert, but that’s about it. Butter chicken and naan, though… that’s my weakness.
13. What’s one thing that you know is a strict no when it comes to grooming, but you’re guilty of doing it?
Not washing hair product off before sleeping sometimes. Too lazy to do that!
