2024 Apple MacBook Air M3 Price Announced
2024 M3 MacBook Air Is Faster, Better, Stronger

Available in both 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes, the updated MacBook Air will be available from 8 March 2024

Lo and behold, here comes the next generation of the MacBook Air, updated with an all-new M3 chip. Priced at Rs 114,900 for the 13-inch model and Rs 134,900 for the 15-inch variant, both models will go on sale this coming Friday, 8 March 2024.

Starting with the highlights, the new-gen MacBook Air now comes with improved CPU and GPU performances, an all-new and updated Neural Engine, up to 2x faster Wi-Fi, and support for two external displays at once. In terms of specs, the M3 MacBook Air now boasts a faster 8-core CPU combined with up to a 10-core GPU, allowing it to be what Apple claims to be the “world’s best consumer laptop for AI,” thanks to the 16-core Neural Engine.

Additionally, it boasts an impressive battery life of up to 18 hours, outlasting an Intel-based MacBook Air by up to six hours. Users will experience the exceptional speed of the M3 chip across various activities, ranging from everyday productivity to intensive tasks such as photo and video editing, as well as software development.

Thanks to the updated Wi-Fi radio, the company claims increased download speeds, suggesting operations twice as fast as the older models. In terms of design, the M3 MacBook Air doesn’t look all that different from the M2 model, with thin bezels all around and a camera notch cutout at its centre.

Just like every year, Apple will be offering both the 13-inch and the 15-inch models in a host of different colours, namely midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver. However, the midnight colour in particular now comes with an anodization seal to reduce visible fingerprints. This was also seen on the M3 MacBook Pro, which was revealed later last year.

“MacBook Air is our most popular and loved Mac, with more customers choosing it over any other laptop. And today it gets even better with the M3 chip and new capabilities,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “From college students pursuing their degrees to business users who need powerful productivity or anyone who simply wants the unmatched combination of performance, portability, and industry-leading battery life, all in a fanless design, the new MacBook Air continues to be the world’s best thin and light laptop.”
