Audi India launches its premium crossover at Rs 28.99 lakhs (Ex-Delhi)

Audi India launched the new Audi Q3 with prices starting at Rs 29.8 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The car, originally launched in 2012, receives a cosmetic update with changes including a reworked front-end that is to be found on Audi’s Q-badged range of SUVs. There are also new 17-inch alloys, daytime LEDs, plus a reworked bumper adding to the list of changes.  Along with that the car receives interior upgrades and gets a new pop-up infotainment unit, chrome accents and steering mounted paddle shifters.

 

The Q3 available in the Indian market gets a 2.0 litre 4-cyl turbo-diesel engine, identical to the one found in the A3 and the A4. The engine puts out 177 bhp of power along with approximately 38 kgm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual or an optional 7-speed DSG gearbox. Along with that, all variants of the Q3 are equipped with Audi’s trademark Quattro all-wheel drive system. The base model – the Audi Q3 S costs Rs 28.99 lakh while the range-topping Q3 Premium Plus sets you back by Rs 37.50 lakh. All prices are Ex-showroom, Delhi.
