Biohacking Your Way To Better Orgasms

People are now biohacking their bodies for better sex

It is one of the inherent qualities of a person to want to be perfect, fully complete and a functional human being. Since time immemorial, mankind has turned to diet, exercise and religion in an attempt to accomplish this feat. While some spend years holed up in the mountains, deep in meditation to achieve a ‘wholeness’, others practised forms of art that gave them a sense of purpose.

Today, in the 21st century, people are turning to ‘biohacking’. In simple terms, biohacking is a way to hack one’s physiology in an attempt to be better, stronger and faster. The energy rush and euphoria you experience after an hour at the gym or at your CrossFit box is one example of biohacking. That cup of coffee you down before sitting down to work is biohacking.

Then there’s Dave Asprey’s Bulletproof Coffee. Asprey created a blend which includes special coffee beans, a mix of healthy butter and Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) oil, according to Forbes. Mind Valley reports that Bulletproof coffee is unique because it keeps you energised throughout the day without the crash.

“The core definition (of biohacking) is changing the art and science of the environment around you and inside of you so that you have full control of your biology,” Asprey told Forbes. “People want to be able to do a lot of things whether it’s to look or feel a certain way, to run faster, to lift heavy things, to have enough energy to play with one’s kids after a full day of work, or be able to run a company and then be able to go to sleep at night.”

Hella neat, right? But get this – people are now biohacking their bodies for better sex.

According to a report by Eric Mack in Cnet, body modification artist Samppa Von Cyborg used his body hacking skills on his wife Aneta and implanted a small magnet inside her. Hence, any time Aneta is near an energy source like a house fan, she experiences “erotic jolts”. While dancing in a club, Aneta also experiences the music unlike anyone else – the large speakers create an electromagnetic field that gives her intense sexual pleasure.

“As far as I know I was the first who had a clitoris magnetic implant,” she told Cnet.

In the report, we are also introduced to entrepreneur and biohacker Sunny Allen who has a compass implanted in her which vibrates whenever she faces East. Pirates would have killed for this technology back in the day. A colleague, while travelling, came across a couple – the woman had a magnet implanted in her while her husband had a piercing on his penis. This apparently helped him go really deep while performing coitus.

But is it safe? While biohacking, in the hands on an experienced person can bring pleasure in more ways than one, it can also go terribly wrong if done haphazardly. “Anything we do to the genitals could run the risk of damaging them,” said Carol Queen, staff sexologist for legendary sex shop Good Vibrations to the website.
