Vijay Deverakonda marked his Bollywood debut with Liger. Sadly, the film has not been well received by fans and it has been performing very badly at the box office as well. Ever since the failure of the film,
new reports about the film’s budget have been surfacing online. In the latest development,
reports suggest that Deverakonda and Karan Johar were not very keen on getting Mike Tyson
on board for the film.
The wrestler charged a hefty amount of Rs 25 crores for his cameo role. And while director
Puri Jagannadh was “hell-bent” on getting Tyson on board, Johar and Deverakonda were not
very supportive. Interestingly, Tyson is not the first actor to charge a fee this huge. We take a
look at 5 stars who’ve demanded a hefty fee for cameo roles in Bollywood.
Qureshi looked mesmerizing as Dilruba in Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress

became the third highest-paid actor in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
She essayed the role of Sita, Ram Charan’s love interest, in the movie RRR. For the less than a 15 minutes role, Bhatt took home a pay cheque of Rs. 9 crores.
Atrangi Re starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar, received mixed reviews
from fans. For his guest appearance in the movie, the actor charged a whopping Rs. 27 crores.
Remember the Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie Kambakkht Ishq ? The film
was the talk of the town for more reasons than one. What grabbed the maximum eyeballs was
the fact that Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone made a cameo in the film. He charged £350,000
(approx Rs. 3.4 crores) for a role that lasted for not longer than a couple of minutes.
Everyone was excited about Ajay Devgn’s cameo in RRR. The actor also made a cameo in Gangubai Kathiawadi. For his role of Lala in Gangubai, he charged Rs. 11 crores, and charged a fee of Rs. 35 crores for his role in RRR.
