Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will end phase four of MCU while Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty are going to mark the end of Phase 6 of MCU
The future of MCU looks promising, and it keeps getting better with each announcement they make. After the success of projects like Ms Marvel and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the fourth phase will come to an end with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. With this epic conclusion, MCU has planned some major projects for phases five and six including Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
The announcement of the upcoming films was made by Kevin Feige at the San Diego Comic-Con event. He revealed that Secret Wars will be arriving in theatres on November 7, 2025, and will also mark the end of Phase six. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will arrive in theatres on May 2, 2025. Ever since the announcement, fans have been speculating what the plot of the future film will look like.
We did some digging and found out some crazy fan theories about both films. Check it out:
Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange were huge hits in phase 4, and if rumours are to be believed, then it is anticipated that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man(s) and Patrick Stewart from Fantastic 4 would be a part of the film.
A fan theory suggests that MCU characters like Young Avengers, Thunderbolts, Midnight Sons, and the Eternals would be introduced in the film, forming new teams to fight the villain. It is believed that various teams will be set up to fight different villain groups from other Marvel properties. Powerful cosmic beings like the Celestials could also be introduced. Arashim from The Eternals might take on the role of “The Beyonder” in this storyline of Secret Wars.
Many theories indicate that Kang would be the next ultimate villain. Jonathan Majors’ villain already got an entire episode of Loki devoted to setting the stage for his threat and Secret Wars will be a more elaborate version of it. The Kang Dynasty will be a more immersive introduction of his to MCU.
What will make Kang the biggest threat would be his unique knowledge of the future. He comes from the future and knows a lot about the multiple timelines and what happened when. He already knows about the Avengers’ deaths, tragedies, and weaknesses which make him incredibly powerful.
Fan theories suggest that Kang’s tactics won’t work on Bruce Banner. It is suggested that since he understands multiverse theory and how the future can be interpreted, he might eventually become the superhero to save everyone.
Even though Loki has been killed, fans think that the super villain might just be alive and very angry. Everyone thinks that it will be only fair for him to kill Kang after what transpired between them.
