Colors TV recently dropped the promo for Bigg Boss Season 16 (Hindi). Inspired by the hugely popular TV series Big Brother, myriad versions of the show have been conceptualized over the years now.  

Well, the first look at the promo reveals the obvious. For instance, Salman Khan is playing host yet again, this season. Sallu bhai further averred how things might take an unusual turn this time around, with a huge possibility of Bigg Boss engaging with the audience this year! The promo took viewers down memory lane as glimpses of ex-contestants like Gauahar Khan, Sidharth Shukla, and Hina Khan were shown.  

After seeing the teaser here’s what the audiences have been saying: 

The show’s premiere will start on October 1, 2022. The names of the contestants have not been revealed as yet but the people are quite excited after the announcement.  

The synopsis of the post is:  

“What if you wake up one morning and you realize the world has turned upside down? The moon rises in the day; gravity no longer exists; time moves anti-clockwise, and nothing makes sense anymore! Your greatest fears will seem like a distant happy memory. Beware as new dawn is coming where you should expect nothing but the unexpected. Fasten your seat belts as it’s that time of the year when all the drama and entertainment unfold. Yes, you read it right! COLORS is all set to bring back the brand-new season of India’s favorite reality show ‘BIGG BOSS’ with the one and only megastar Salman Khan as the host.” 

Recently television actors Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen confirmed to a publication that they have been approached by the show. Asopa said, “Yes, I have been contacted by the makers for the upcoming season (of Bigg Boss) but I have no clue about Rajeev. Having said that, I don’t have any problem doing a show with him. Work is work.” To this Sen added, “So far, they have only been keen on me. They never spoke about Charu… I have mixed reactions to Bigg Boss from my family and friends. So, let’s see how things work out. I am still thinking about the offer.” 

The news came shortly after the couple announced their decision to separate, but eventually reconciled.
