Brad Pitt In Talks To Return In Deadpool 3 As Vanisher
Is Brad Pitt Finally Making His MCU Debut With ‘Deadpool 3’?

Vanisher did die in ‘Deadpool 2’ tho…

Brad Pitt’s blink-and-miss appearance as a member of X-Force in Deadpool 2 might just get bigger in the third part of the franchise film. For the uninitiated, Pitt played a character named Vanisher in the Ryan Reynold starrer superhero movie. Now, reports in Giant Freakin Robot suggest that the actor is in talks with the team to reprise this role in the next part. If the speculations turn out to be true, Deadpool 3 will mark his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans might remember the one scene from Deadpool 2, where Pitt gets electrocuted. His power is invisible, but his identity is revealed after he dies from the electric shock. Considering the same, how MCU decides to bring back the character after his death remains a mystery. Traditionally, in the Marvel Comics version, the Vanisher does not typically have the power of invisibility, but is known as a teleporter. So many theories can arise from here.

Another interesting thing to notice here is the fact that Reynold’s character travels through reality to bring various people back to life and kill some others in the mid-and post-credits sequences. So, there is really no reason as to why Pitt wouldn’t return in Deadpool 3. Other theories also suggest that the actor might enter the film as a multi-dimensional variant of Cable himself. After all, both Pitt and Michael Shannon were in talks to play the powerful mutant soldier.

But, no matter what, Deadpool 3 will be the first movie of the series to take place in the mainstream Marvel Cinematic Universe. This marks Pitt’s debut in the MCU as well. The film is also the first MCU property to be rated R, which is a pretty big change in itself for both the series and Marvel.

And the above-mentioned rumors are yet to be confirmed, fans might as well watch Deadpool making his much-awaited MCU appearance in Avengers: Kang Dynasty, which is set to release in 2025 alongside Avengers: Secret Wars.
