Every now and then, an actor manages to outshine with their outstanding and earnest performances. However, not every actor gets his dues in the cut-throat world of Bollywood. Despite delivering unbelievable performances, some actors remain underrated. That’s what happened with actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jaideep Ahlawat, who got noticed only after their performances in Gangs of Wasseypur and Paatal Lok. These actors deserve more time in the limelight.

Sanjay Mishra



Did you know that there was a time when this phenomenal actor had to quit Bollywood to work at a dhaba for a salary of Rs 150? He has been in the industry for over 25 years and it’s a shame that he isn’t as celebrated for the remarkable performances he has given in shows like Office Office, and films like Masaan, Dhamaal, All The Best, Golmaal Again, and Kaamyaab among others.


Sharat Saxena



Sharat Saxena is known for his amazing physique at the age of 71. He is known for playing supporting characters in films like Baghban, Fanaa, Ghulam, Soldier, Krrish, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, etc.


Vinay Pathak



From Khosla Ka Ghosla to Dasvidaniya and Bheja Fry, Vinay Pathak has managed to win the hearts of the audiences with every single role he’s taken on. He has got a fair share of fame and acclaim in theatre and cinema, but we feel he deserves more.


Adil Hussain



Adil Hussain’s filmography is quite interesting and covers genres. He has worked in films like The Xpose, and Agent Vinod, and in The Life Of Pi, Lootera, and The Reluctant Fundamentalist. You will however remember him best for playing the character of Satish Godbole in Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish.


Saurabh Shukla



An example of a brilliant actor who is often overshadowed by a hero, Saurabh Shukla has a career spanning over three decades. He has given some memorable performances – Kallu Mama in Satya, Tom Uncle in Mohabbatein, Pandurang in Nayak: The Real Hero and Justice Tripathi in Jolly LLB. He’s an actor who does serious and comedy with the same conviction.

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub



Do we need to even explain why he deserves more fame? He is a brilliant actor and no matter how big or small the role is, Zeeshan Ayyub makes his presence felt. Murari in Raanjhanaa, Chintu in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Sadiq in Raees, Nishad in Article 15, and Manish in A Simple Murder are some of his noteworthy performances.


Vijay Raaz



Another actor who changes the course of a film with his performance is Vijay Raaz. Comedy or serious roles, Raaz is an actor who does it all in a convincing way. With impeccable performances in films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Monsoon Wedding, Run, Deewane Huye Pagal, Welcome, Dhamaal, and Delhi Belly, we can’t get enough of him.
