Finally, the news we have all been waiting to hear in 2020 as the world is ravaged by a pandemic – actor Aditya Roy Kapur who is usually known for his private demeanour has refuted rumours of ‘stealing’ Ranveer Singh‘s girlfriend in college.

In 2017, on Neha Dhupia’s popular radio show, No Filter Neha, Singh had revealed about Kapur: “He was like every girl’s fantasy in junior college and the girl that I was crazy about that time who is now married with a kid, so she, I was really like, this is like, I was mad about her. It was a good 4-5 years that I was crazy over her. And then she finally broke up with me. It was in order to move onto a certain Aditya Roy Kapur.”

Three years hence, Kapur has finally opened up about his side of things. The actor told Mumbai Mirror that Ranveer Singh was just being dramatic and that he, Aditya Roy Kapur, had only started dating the girl in question months after her breakup with Singh.

“Maybe, I didn’t know how he felt,” he said, adding: “Only around eight months after that (the breakup), did I start seeing her.”

Now, we can all rest easy and sleep in peace. It must be noted that we don’t know who the woman in question is and neither does she appear to have any say in the matter.
