Ben Affleck Hangs Up His Cape As Batman

Ben Affleck revealed that he will no longer be playing the role of Batman in the next film based on the Dc superhero. Arguably, the most anticipated film from DC is the Mat Reeves-directed The Batman, whose story will focus on a younger Bruce Wayne and explore Batman more as a detective and an investigator. The film is also set to have a bunch of villains.

The Batman is set to release on June 25, 2021.

Margot Robbie Reveals Her Look As Harley Quinn in Birds Of Prey


Margot Robbie took to Instagram to to reveal the first look of Harley Quinn in the upcoming Birds of Prey film. The film will see her reprising the role and will see her team up with other female superheroes from the DC universe like Huntress, Black Canary, Black Mask, etc.

The movie is directed by Cathy Yan, and will release in February 2020.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Director To Now Direct Suicide Squad

After being let go by Disney and Marvel last year after his controversial homophobic tweets surfaced, James Gunn was hired to work with DC and Warner Bros. on the sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad. 

The film will arrive in theaters on August 6, 2021.

Aquaman Overtakes The Dark Knight To Becomes DC’s Biggest Film

According to Forbes, the Jason Momoa-Amber Heard starrer, Aquaman, has now earned $316.5 million in the domestic US market, putting it right between “Iron Man 2” ($312 million in 2010) and “Iron Man” ($318 million in 2008).

The James Wan film has earned over $1.085 billion worldwide, placing it over Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.
