The actors who worked in Game of Thrones were paid a whopping amount of money. Now that the prequel House of the Dragons has already started streaming, it comes as no surprise to note that the cast will be paid handsomely for their respective roles in the show.
This series explores the house of the Targaryens–how they began, what went into choosing the heir to the throne, and how it all declined in the end. Seeing the iron throne and hearing the GoT background music surely brought back a lot of memories. However, what’s more exciting is the money involved.

His full name is Matthew Robert Smith. Known for his roles in BBC’s Doctor Who and Netflix’s The Crown, Smith is an award-winning actor. He was reportedly paid $52,000 per episode for the role of prince Philip in The Crown. Certainly, he won’t be making anything less than this here.
She is playing the role of the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the series. She is 22 years old but has been active since 2014 in the showbiz industry. Reportedly she annually earns $500,000 and this role will just add more to her income accordingly.
Known for his role as Father John Hughes in Peaky Blinders, Considine plays the titular role of King Viserys I Targaryen. Apart from acting, he has dabbled in directing, writing, and music. According to recent reports, he charges somewhere between $15000 to $25000 per episode for any role that he undertakes. Considine has been a part of a few award-winning short films as well.
Scottish actor and writer McTavish has been in the industry for some time now. He has been a part of popular award-winning projects like The Hobbit, Preacher, Outlander, and Castlevania. He was being paid $150,000 for his role in every season of Outlander. A similar amount must be paid here as well.
57-year-old Toussaint has been doing a fabulous job as Corlys Velaryon in HotD. He has been a part of shows like The Sands of Time, Judge Dredd, and Shooting Dogs. He has spent more than 3 decades in the industry and today his net worth is approximately $4.5 million. Looking at this number, it’s pretty certain that he must be charging quite a bit for this show as well.
