The singer has been cast into Ridley Scott’s upcoming movie about the assassination of Maurizio Gucci who was murdered by his ex-wife.

The singer-songwriter will be playing the role of Gucci’s ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani. Maurizio Gucci left Reggiani after 12 years of marriage in 1985 for a younger woman. The Italian socialite was convicted of orchestrating her ex-husband’s assassination on the steps of his office in Italy in 1995. She got the nickname Black Widow during the trial and served 18 years before being released from prison in 2016, as reported by Deadline.
