Leaked Information Of Birth Certificate Reveals Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Daughter’s Name

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ daughter’s name has a beautiful meaning behind it.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ daughter was born via surrogacy on January 15th at a San Diego hospital. The couple shared the happy news with their fans via a social media post. Since then fans have been wanting to know more about baby Chopra-Jonas.

While the parents haven’t shared any pictures or details about their daughter, a TMZ report has revealed the name of the baby. The report claims that they got their hands on the birth certificate of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ daughter and that her name was Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

As per the birth certificate, Malti was born just after 8 PM on January 15th. The name ‘Malti’ is from Sanskrit and it means a small fragrant flower or moonlight. Marie is a Latin word taken from ‘Stella Maris’, which means ‘star of the sea’. It also has a biblical connection as it’s the French interpretation of the name Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Chopra recently discussed being new parent during a chat with Lilly Singh. She has then said, “As a new parent right now, I keep thinking about that I will never be imposing my desires, fears, my upbringing on to my child. I have always believed that children come through you not from you. There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life. Recognising that really helped me, my parents were very non-judgemental in a certain way.”

Chopra and Jonas announced the birth of their daughter on January 22 with a post that said: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” Fans cannot wait for her to share pictures of the little one with them.
