Here are 5 things we know about the show so far:

Shri and his wife are in therapy

Many scenes in the trailer show Shri and his wife, essayed by Priyamani, consulting a relationship counsellor. The two had developed some issues in the last season, and this time around their relationship will definitely be a key focus. Shri’s kids are also seen getting worried about the couple, so it is for the fans to see how this relationship will unfold now.

Shri is not with the Intelligence Beaureu anymore

While the first season wall about Shri’s life at the IB, in the second season we will see him work at a 9-5 job. There are scenes where we see his boss telling him to be more active at work. He works alone and makes sure he is not getting involved in any fun activity at the office. Some scenes also show how he is having major FOMO as he is missing his life as an IB agent.

This time the terrorist plot is based in Chennai

Shri will be finally reaching Chennai to solve a case and prevent an imminent attack. He will be pitted against a new, stalwart and ruthless enemy named Raaji, a character played by Samantha Akkineni. Raaji plans to destroy the city alongwith terrorist outfit ISI and rebel leaders. Her only motto is “I will kill them all”, as Shri tries to prevent her from succeeding in her plans.

Shri and JK (Sharib Hashmi) are still BFFs

While Shri chose to move on in life, he and JK are still the best of friends. Shri is seen calling JK up while he is stuck in a hostage situation. In another scene, we also see Hashmi telling him that Bajpayee is experiencing major FOMO, which means they talk a lot too often and have remained in touch even after being miles apart from each other.
