Days after Yashraj Mukhate’s rap on Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben’s famous dialogue “Rasode Mein Kon Tha?” went viral on the internet, the makers of Saath Nibhana Saathiya released the promo for a second season.
Clearly, no one understands sarcasm anymore. The second season of the show doesn’t even feature the original Gopi Bahu, who washed the laptop. It stars Devoleena Bhattacharya who appears in the promo dressed in a pink saree and greets everyone with ‘Jai Shree Krishna’.
Playing along with the meme, she then enters the kitchen and responds to the pressure cooker’s whistling with a cryptic “seems like Gehna has put the cooker on the gas in the ‘rasoda’ (kitchen)”.
Who the hell is Gehna?
Well, I guess we’ll have to watch the show for that.
