On the other hand, Indian has become a spot of interest for the luxury fashion houses which are trying to tap into the space with the widespread appeal of celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor. Priyanka Chopra Jonas for Bvlgari

It won't be wrong to credit Chopra-Jonas to put India on the global map; one of the firsts to step out in the global industry and make a mark, she’s been ruling the space for over a decade now. From singing with global pop artist Pitbull to having a renewed season for her web series, Citadel, Chopra-Jonas has done it all successfully. The actor has been the brand ambassador for the Italian luxury brand, Bvlgari since 2021 alongside Anne Hathaway and Zendaya.

Deepika Padukone for Louis Vuitton and Cartier

Rightly known as the global con, we’ve seen her doing it all. From acting in XXX opposite Vin Diesel (who doesn’t remember his Lungi Dance during the India promotion) to walking the carpet at Cannes Film Festival and Met Gala, the actor became the first Indian celebrity to be appointed as the face of the French luxury brand, Louis Vuitton, joining the names like Emma Stone and Zhou Dongyu. In 2022, the actor added another feather to her cap after being announced as the brand ambassador for Cartier.

Alia Bhatt for Gucci

Her looks have all been Gucci ever since the actor has been appointed as the house ambassador for the Italian luxury label in 2023. The actor has attended the brand's Cruise Fall 24 show in Seoul, the Spring/Summer 24 show held in Milan, and the Gucci Cruise 2025 show in London as part of her role. The actor also featured in Gucci’s Eyewear Spring Summer 2024 campaign by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno.

Ranveer Singh for Tiffany & Co.

Primarily a luxe jewellery brand for women, the brand made a strong case for men’s accessories by having Ranveer Singh as their Indian brand ambassador. The only Indian celebrity to attend the opening of the brand’s New York store, Singh was at the India store launch in silk white shirt and diamonds making sure he fits the aesthetics.
