You’ve probably heard about Samantha, the sex doll created by robotics company Synthea Amatus. It’s probably one of the first sex dolls created using the advances made in artificial intelligence. Now, The Daily Mail reports that following an upgrade, Samantha will automatically shut down if she senses any disrespect or is ‘not in the mood’.
Dr Sergi, the Spanish Electrical Engineer is the inventor of the sex robot and has confirmed that he is working on an update which will allow Samantha to go into a ‘dummy mood’ if her skin sensors feel the partner is getting too aggressive or in the case of any unwanted sexual advances.
India.com reports that the engineer also demonstrated how Samantha can say ‘no’ during a presentation at the Life Style Centre, New Castle. The official website claims that the doll, which will be mass produced and have a price tag of over three lakh, is ‘capable of enjoying sex’.
Samantha comes equipped with motorised hands, hips, face and will talk in an endearing way if stimulated in the right way, reports India.com.
