Cyberpunk 2077 was set to be one of 2020’s biggest and most highly-awaited game launches. But to the dismay of many, the game was released to the public with several glitches and bugs, ruining the gameplay experience for millions of players all over the world.
Developer CD Projekt Red had already put the game through several delays. Fans bore up with the delays, hoping the final product would be near-perfect, but that was far from the case. PS4 and Xbox One users reported the game to be infested with with glitches, bugs and was causing system crashes.
PC users, on the other hand, are the only gamers who have got to experience Cyberpunk’s true potential.
Owning up to the fact that the game is facing issues, the game’s official Twitter handle posted a lengthy letter, apologising to the fans, adding that they will “fix bugs and crashes and improve the overall experience of the game.

Several users reacted to the letter, but everyone took special notice when the world’s second-richest man also took a dig. Elon Musk was apparently one of the the game’s biggest disappointed users. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, in reply to the tweet, posted an image, sourced from a social media site. The image’s headline read: “Does anyone else feel empty? I’ve been crying for the last few days.”
Then comes the explanation: “I took a week off work to play this game and I quickly realized it’s not the game I’ve been thinking about every day for eight years. I cried myself to sleep and haven’t been able to function. I end up crying whenever I think about the game and I don’t even wan to touch my PS4. This was supposed to be the future of gaming and now I don’t know what else l have to look forward to.”
Cyberpunk 2077 launched on December 10 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and will also arrive on the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
