We all have to wear helmets even though we hate to, but this company just gave us a million reasons to never take it off, even while going to bed.
Taiwanese company, Jarvish, unveiled their advanced motorcycle helmet dubbed the X-AR, which boasts of a bunch of exciting features, never seen before on helmets.
The carbon-fiber helmet fuses modern day technology with practicality by adding features like anti-fog, anti-glare and anti-scratch visors. Another interesting aspect is the voice command feature that allow you to use systems like Siri, Alexa or Google. It also comes with Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to talk while keeping your eyes focused on the road.
They come in two variants, the X and the X-AR. The X-AR comes with two cameras, both in the front and rear, which gives you vivid real-time visuals, which will be displayed on an augmented display. The display will also show directions, weather updates, speed and hazard road signs.
The smart helmets had a Kickstarter goal of $50,000 but ended up getting over $200,00 in a matter of few days. The helmets are scheduled to be shipped by mid to late 2019.
