After Aashiqui 2, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur are back to set the screens on fire with OK Jaanu, which is a remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani.
And guess who the director of the film is? It is none other than Shaad Ali, who gave us the hugely popular and romantic film, Saathiya. Which is why, OK Jaanu’s trailer may just remind you of the Rani Mukherjee and Vivek Oberoi starrer, which was much loved and appreciated by the audiences when it was first released.
In the trailer of OK Jaanu, Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapur are depicted in a live-in relationship and do not have any plans for further commitment. In this modern-day romance, Shraddha intends to visit Paris to pursue architecture while Aditya Roy Kapur has made up his mind to go to the US in order to give competition to Mark Zuckerberg. In the meanwhile, the couple decide to be together until they set off to their respective destinations.
The two are seen reveling in their new-found romance until the time Shraddha gets admission and it’s time to go. That’s when things take a turn for the worst, affecting their relationship to a great extent.
The film’s trailer is hugely inspired by the original and has been picturized in the same way but the chemistry of the two leads is definitely something which you should look out for. Also, we’re looking out for some chartbuster hits since the music of the film has been composed by none other than AR Rahman.
