The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is a sight in its own right. It’s a place for some of the biggest models in the world to show us just how they can be great ambassadors for any brand.
The popular angel Adriana Lima’s turned 37 this week and we can’t stop gushing over her endless grace and radiant charm.
On this occasion, let us take a walk down memory lane and reminisce the best moments with yesteryear angels and how they continue to defy age, even with their prime years behind them.
Adriana Lima: The Brazilian supermodel started out in 2000 and holds the record for walking for the most of Victoria’s Secret Shows. Lima created headlines after admitting that she was still a virgin in 2006, during an interview. She’s also appeared in such shows as How I Met Your Mother and Ugly Betty. Lima has been included in the Forbes top-earning models list for four years.
Tyra Banks: The 45-year-old California native was the first black woman to have a contract with Victoria’s Secret, wear Angel wings, and wear the Fantasy Bra. After walking in as many as nine Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows (including eight as an official Angel), Tyra hung up her wings. She not only executive produced and hosted America’s Next Top Model, but also hosted her very own eponymous talk show.
Many years ago, I modeled for this swimsuit campaign in Eilat, Israel. The weather and the styling was 🔥. Today, I was scrolling on IG and saw that someone posted this photo celebrating the #BlackPanther movie. I went to the NYC premiere and was awestruck by the film in so many wondrous ways. Go see it. I guarantee it is unlike ANY film you have EVER seen. #Wakanda #Vibranium

Nominated for six Emmy Awards for Project Runway, she took her love of clothing and used it as a platform to help young designers find their way in the industry. She’s also made countless television appearances in shows such as Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, and CSI Miami.

Gisele Bundchen: the 37 year old Brazilian model had to walk in a single Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show before being brought into the Angel fold, getting her wings in 2000.
