The latest trend that refuses to die is the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge. The viral challenge started with a meme (surprise, surprise) and has now gotten completely out of hand. For those of you who are fortunate enough to now know zilch about this, here’s a quick recap:
Drake released a song called ‘In My Feelings’ which is classic Drake through and through. The Shiggy Show came up with a dance that goes with this song. Soon enough, people were jumping out of running vehicles to do this challenge. While a few videos have been interesting, most others are extremely cringe-worthy.

In fact, according to an AFP report, the Gulf Emirate of Abu Dhabi ordered the arrest of three social media influencers who took part in this challenge. “Participants in this challenge get out of a moving car and leave the door open and dance on a public road next to the car, which is a danger to them and others on the road. “This behaviour is contrary to the values of the Emirates’ society and constitutes a violation of public morals,” the public prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The Guardian reports that police forces across the world, from India to the US, have warned against this challenge because it poses a risk to the person involved and those around them. “Desist from public nuisance or face the music!” Mumbai Police posted on Twitter.
Not just a risk for you but your act can put life of others at risk too. Desist from public nuisance or face the music ! #DanceYourWayToSafety #InMySafetyFeelingsChallenge pic.twitter.com/gY2txdcxWZ

This doesn’t seem to have had any effect on Nora Fatehi, however. The actress posted a video of her participating in the challenge and doing it in a ‘desi style’.
Then there was this cringe-inducing version by Adah Sharma.
Karishma Sharma thanked her insta-fam and gave them this:
This one by Nia Sharma was pretty good, though.
Kiki, if you are reading this, we’d advice you to stay away. You deserve better, girl.
