The online auction concluded on June 25, and the highest bidding amount reached a whopping figure of £150,000 GBP (approximately Rs 1.4 crore). The bidding was held in private, so the name of the winning bidder has not been made public.
Apart from Deviation, the proceeds will also be donated to Inquest, an organisation that provides support to families experiencing a “state-related death” and The Black Curriculum, another organisation that looks into the lack of Black British history in the UK curriculum.
