2020 proved to be a crucial year for several cricketers, and they made their mark in the cricket world. ICC has released the brand-new Test rankings for this year that allow us to see which player actually ruled 2020. A few experienced players remained at the top of the list, as expected, but there were a few big upgrades as compared to last year.
Australia’s Steve Smith retained his number one spot on the list, with 911 points.
The second spot saw a tie between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.
Williamson’s 251-run knock against the West Indies in the first Test in Hamilton helped the skipper rise up the ICC Test rankings to the No. 2 spot.
