The French club Paris Saint-Germain have earned their spot in the Champions League finale for the first time in football history.

PSG beat RB Leipzig 3-0 in their semi-final on Tuesday to earn the prestigious spot in the finals. Neymar and Mbappe helped lead the team to where they are now, and it was a long time coming.

For the last three seasons, PSG were wiped out in the last-16. For four consecutive campaigns before that, they lost in the quarter-finals. But the team is now more determined than ever to bring the Champions League cup back home to Paris and creating history.

This season has undoubtedly been an unexpected one. Due to the removal of FC Barcelona and Juventus, this year marks the first time Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi won’t be playing in the Champions League semi-finals in 14 years.
