In a chill, laid-back seaside photoshoot, Malik poses in a variety of unmissable Spring-Summer staples. Think linen long-sleeve shirts, t-shirts, relaxed-fit resort shirts – bottomed out with pull-on trousers and shorts in relaxed fits.

With plenty of light, fresh colors and silhouettes to play around with, Malik appreciated several pieces from the collection – with the relaxed-fit resort shirts x linen trousers pairing turning out to be his favorite.

“For me, it’s the linen fabric that makes the collection the perfect drop for this season – light fabrics, breezy silhouettes and fresh colors are an ideal combination,” he shared enthusiastically.

If you’ve been following the star ever since his rise through the early 2010s, you’ll know that he’s no stranger to experimenting with fashion – @armaanmalik on Instagram is a treasure trove of experiments with various styles, silhouettes, and shades that the artist has played with through the years.

“I feel spring’s that one time of the year where you can truly bring out the most colorful pieces in your wardrobe,” Malik shares. “Fun prints or even bold t-shirts in bright shades work well for this season. I’ve always loved experimenting with colors & silhouettes, which is why this particular collection really resonated with me.”

Apart from playing with all these fashion elements, Malik also dropped his personal must-have wardrobe essentials – jewelry. “I always have some jewellery on me,” he adds. “Be it rings, chains, necklaces or even bracelets. I believe it elevates the vibe of your outfit like nothing else.”

It’s something he has in common with Justin Bieber – a fashion icon that Malik adores for his ability to dive into ‘unconventional trends’ – while still somehow making them work.

H&M’s shoot in particular was much like the collection – an easygoing, carefree experience that Malik described as the “easiest and most comfortable shoot I’ve ever had.”

Meanwhile, Malik remains busy on the music front – saying that he has big plans for 2022.

“A lot of new projects are gonna kick start this year, some of which have been in the works for quite some time now,” he shared. “I recently launched my own music label Always Music Global in partnership with Warner Music India. “

“I’m very excited for the projects that will come under that especially because I’m gonna be introducing and experimenting with new sounds and styles that I believe will shape the future of what Indipop music can be.”

“I’m also looking forward to doing some massive and unique global collaborations,” teased Malik. “I can’t wait for all that’s in store!”

The collection starts from INR 799 and will be available from the 14th of April in all H&M stores, as well as online on hm.com and Myntra.
