The upcoming holiday season is totally going to look different this year but we can still count on brands to push out new ad campaigns for the season.
Gucci brought back the ’90s office party with its 2020 Gift Giving campaign, which includes the launch of decorative packaging and a new game on the Gucci app. Whereas, Versace takes us on a road trip home for the holidays in a campaign that features Irina Shayk and Adut Akech. Prada’s cinema-inspired campaign is a mystery to be solved, based on an exclusive short story and Salvatore Ferragamo is “Unwrapping Joy” with its latest campaign. Lastly, Louis Vuitton takes us on a back to home journey to celebrate the essence of the holidays.
Scroll to watch some of the best creative work from the brands, this season.
Produced by Alessandro Michele and directed by Akinola Davies Jr, the campaign features some of Gucci’s most popular items of the season including the GG Marmont bags, Tennis 1977 sneakers as well as the wooly GG Jacquard scarves and hats.
Inspired by the nostalgia of returning home during holidays, Versace has gathered a starry cast such as Irina Shayk, Adut Akech, Biaggio Ali Walsh and Louis Baines for a festive road trip in a convertible.
This year, Prada has conveyed its ad through a short film written by the best-selling British author of Queenie, Candice Carty-Williams. It’s an ode to the cinematic drama of the earlier years.
Creative director Paul Andrew describes Salvatore Ferragom’s ad as, “For this holiday season it made sense to focus on the traditions of the time; a tradition of gathering with loved ones, of taking time to reflect and enjoy, and of exchanging tokens of respect, love, and affection.”
Louis Vuitton that explores the journey that takes us back home, and celebrates the holiday spirit.
